Riddle School Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 19, 2026
1. About this policy
This policy describes information exchanged when you read Riddle School Online, open an external game, or contact us. Reading the site does not require an account. Contact: [email protected].
2. Page delivery and contact information
When your browser requests a page or resource, the service delivering it receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. This is used to deliver resources and support security and troubleshooting.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process your address, message and any attachments. We use your message to respond to the request. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information. Public comments are currently unavailable.
3. Advertising and analytics
This version of the site loads Microsoft Clarity, a usability analytics service, on every page. Clarity may process device and browser details, page activity such as clicks and scrolling, session replay data, IP addresses, and cookie or similar identifiers. This version does not load Google Analytics or Google AdSense advertising scripts. AdSense account verification metadata and ads.txt do not themselves run advertising scripts. We do not currently offer an analytics or advertising consent banner.
Earlier versions of the site used Google Analytics for traffic measurement and AdSense advertising code. Those services can process device and browser details, page activity, IP addresses and cookie or similar identifiers. Advertising services may use cookies, web beacons and identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize ads, and share information with advertising partners according to their settings and policies.
For information about those services and past activity, see how Google uses information from partner sites, Google advertising choices, and Microsoft's privacy statement. Advertising will require an updated policy and appropriate choice controls before being enabled again.
4. External games
Pressing Play connects your browser to xiaodai89as.github.io, a game host on GitHub Pages. That host receives the connection information needed to deliver the game. Its content runs inside an embedded frame and can make its own requests or use browser storage. We have not verified every request or storage mechanism used by these games; we do not promise that game activity stays entirely on your device.
You can read the guides without opening the game. Close game removes the embedded frame and stops that session. Closing it does not erase previously stored information. See GitHub's privacy statement for the hosting service's practices.
5. Fonts and other external resources
The site requests fonts from Google Fonts and icon styles from cdnjs. Those services receive the connection information needed to deliver their resources. See Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our layout stylesheet is served from this site.
6. Your choices and browser storage
You can choose not to open external games, close a running game, and block or remove cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Removing game storage may erase saved progress. This site does not currently offer its own analytics or advertising preference control; your browser's cookie and storage settings are the available way to limit those requests.
Previously stored cookies are not automatically removed by this update. You can remove them in your browser. Clearing browser storage does not delete provider logs or emails already sent.
7. Sharing and retention
Hosting, resource delivery and email involve the service providers described above; their processing may take place in other countries under their policies. We may also need to disclose information in response to applicable legal obligations or security incidents. Provider retention periods depend on their service and settings. Contact us about information in your correspondence; we cannot erase third-party records by clearing this website's storage.
8. Privacy requests
Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to use of your personal information. Send requests to [email protected] with enough context to locate your correspondence. We may need to verify a request before responding. You may also contact the relevant service provider or your local data protection authority.
9. Children and game content
These games are not presented as suitable for every age. Some entries contain death or unsettling story themes. Parents and guardians should review each game before play. Do not send children's personal information through feedback. If a child has sent personal information to us, contact us to request its review and deletion as applicable. This version does not run advertising scripts, though it does load the analytics service described in section 3.
10. Updates
This policy was updated on September 19, 2026. Changes to services or privacy controls will be reflected here. Visiting the site does not, by itself, provide consent for optional advertising or analytics.
